Muffin Sisters is a brand that merges traditional African fabrics with modern European styles to create heritage children’s products. Founded in 2014 after our journey to Mali, the brand celebrates the vibrant African culture and emphasizes the importance of reconnecting with ancestral roots. The range of handmade products, including blankets, towels, bibs, and soft toys, tell the stories of legendary ancestors and the richness and diversity of the African continent. Muffin Sisters aims to preserve heritage for future generations by instilling a love for culture and tradition in children. My sister and I worked together to develop the content strategy for our social media channels, which included Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
The main goal of the social media strategy was to build the strong community who would support each other and have the same goal to cultivate African culture.

As part of my responsibilities, I was in charge of creating social media content which included taking photographs, crafting engaging captions and creating relevant hashtags.
